  • 1996: Awarded a 2 - year Kenyatta University scholarship to pursue a Master degree in Botany (Plant Pathology) at Kenyatta University.
  • 1997: Awarded a GTZ - IPM, Horticulture Research Grant to undertake a Master Research on “Efficacy of Neem Kernel Cake Powder against fusarium wilt of tomato,” Research grant worthy KSH. 168,000. And an honorarium of KSH. 20,000 upon completion.
  • 2007- 2008: Awarded a grant by UNIDO to undertake a post graduate course in Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology at IPBO, Ghent University.
  • 2016-2020: Awarded Scholarship for sand- wish PhD program at Experimental Plant Sciences, Wageningen University and Kenyatta University under NFP Program.
