On 26 February 2024, the event International Masterclasses: hands on particle physics was held for the first time in Kenya. Only a few African countries are involved in IMC and Kenya is now one of them. Fourteen students from Kiwanja Secondary School, seven from Form 3 and seven from Form 4, visited KU Department of Physics.
