  • National Cancer Institute of Kenya Reference No.: REF NO: NCI-K/002/2025: Resaerch Title: Usefulness and usability of the existing medical records systems for cancer treatment, research and burden monitoring in National teaching and referral hospitals and selected County Hospitals of Kenya.

  • I hold a recognition certificate from AMREF for services offered to 1998 bomb blast survivors who sort reconstructive surgery at KNH

  • Aggressively marketed and improved PhD enrolment Over 35 continuing students from 20
  • Successfully initiated and completed the development of Bsc Justice and Legal information Management- currently in CUE awaiting approval
  • Was an instrumental member of the team that developed Msc in Knowledge management, and PHD in Information Science in the department of Information Science in 2014

Previous Institution (KNH)

  • Was a member of University of Nairobi- Kenyatta National Hospital Scientific and Research committee. The committee regulates all research conducted in the hospital and jointly organizes the annual research conference with the University of Nairobi (2008 to 2013) 
  • Member of Kenyatta National hospital Rapid Response Initiative special committee (2011-2013) charged with the responsibility of Hospital Performance Monitoring, compilation, and presentation of weekly statistical  indicators to hospital management executive committee every Monday morning.
  • Health information department representative (2008-2013)  in KNH senior management meeting.
